Design and Implementation of Load Balancing Algorithms for Efficient Management of Cloud Network Resources

Abstract
Cloud computing has revolutionized the way IT services are delivered by offering scalable and on-demand access to computational resources. Efficient management of these resources is crucial for ensuring high performance and cost-effectiveness. Load balancing plays a pivotal role in distributing incoming network traffic across multiple servers to optimize resource utilization and prevent overload. This paper presents a comprehensive study on the design and implementation of load balancing algorithms tailored for cloud environments. To validate the effectiveness of our algorithms, we conducted extensive experiments using a simulated cloud infrastructure. Performance metrics such as response time, throughput, and resource utilization were evaluated under varying workload conditions. The results demonstrate significant improvements in system performance and scalability compared to traditional approaches.
