Abstract
Broadband matching networks are crucial components in mm-wave power amplifiers (PAs) to ensure efficient power transfer and maximum power delivery to the load. This paper investigates the design, analysis, and performance evaluation of transformer-based matching networks specifically tailored for mm-wave frequencies. The focus is on achieving broadband impedance matching, low insertion loss, and robust performance across a wide frequency range. Various design strategies, optimization techniques, and practical considerations are discussed, along with simulation results to validate the effectiveness of the proposed matching networks.
